RMAA volunteers at the Special Olympics

On June 4th, 2016, RMAA staff, family and friends helped out at the Special Olympics: 2016 Summer Games.

They volunteered at two Healthy Athlete stations:

  • Near Sight and Far Sight testing stations to inspect athletes’ visual acuity; the testing stations checked to see if Athletes could see shapes such as squares, houses, apple/hearts or circles at certain distances.
  • Check-Out station to reward athletes for going through three Healthy Athlete check-up stations; prizes included T-shirts, stress balls, light up pins, lunch bags, lanyards and more!  All of the athletes left extremely happy!
