CAROL HIRAI, ASSOCIATE AIA

Senior Associate

During her childhood, Carol developed her interest in architecture looking at construction drawings on her father’s desk at his general contracting business.  Upon graduating from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Architecture/Interiors, she worked in contracting as a visual merchandising designer. Carol brings more than 25 years of experience in interior design with RMA, where she’s enjoyed meeting and working with a diverse clientele, material reps, contractors and consultants.  Her creative and detailed approach to design, space planning, furniture and finish selections has resulted in many repeat clients and  lasting friendships. Outside of the office she enjoys cooking, traveling, volunteer work, and crafts.
