16th Annual Great Pumpkin Event

RMA enjoys the month of October because it means the Annual Great Pumpkin Event is just around the corner. The month begins with decorating our lobby and ends with Halloween candy, awesome costumes, and of course, pumpkins!

Dexter was our lobby’s theme this year. Plastic covered the walls to mimic his “Kill Room” where he conducted his “work”. If you haven’t heard of this TV series that aired on Showtime here is a quick synopsis.

Dexter Morgan, Miami Metro Police Department blood spatter analyst, has a double life. When he’s not helping the Homicide division solving murders, he spends his time hunting and killing bad guys that slip through the justice system. He spends his sun-drenched days solving crimes and moonlit nights committing them. But not to worry, our cool-blooded Dexter doesn’t kill just anyone. He reserves his homicidal compulsions to taking only the lives of other killers.

Every year our employees get in the Halloween sprite carving pumpkins! Our spooky lobby is then open to visitors who vote for their favorite pumpkins in the following categories; Best Overall Design, Most Creative, Most Fun, and Scariest. These are the winners of this year’s Great Pumpkin Event 2019.

Best Overall Design:
Misteriosong Maquina
Most Creative:
Alien Autopsy
Most Fun: Halloween
Happy Forest
Scariest:
Beelzebub
On Halloween day a few of us dressed up in fun costumes and had a great time greeting the voters that came by.  Thank you to everyone that participated in this year’s event. We are already looking forward to the next one!
